Distinguished Lecturer Series
The Distinguished Lecturer follows each South Bay Tumor Board discussion. The distinguished speaker is a nationally or regionally recognized individual, who has contributed to advances in a specific field of medical importance. Each speaker is given an honorarium for participation.
The Distinguished Lecturer is asked to participate in the preceding tumor board discussion, and then gives an approximately one hour talk on a subject with which he or she is very familiar, or is an expert. Time is allowed for
questions and answers at the
conclusion of the talk.
