Cancer Education and Awareness in the Community
Welcome
Community Cancer Foundation is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to promote cancer, medical education and awareness by providing support and organization for such activities in the community at large.
We are a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation.
We are the organizers and promoters of the South Bay Tumor Board, which meets monthly, and which provides a forum for discussion of difficult or unusual patient cases and an opportunity for medical professionals to learn from such cases. In some cases it will also be accessible to the public and provide an opportunity for second opinion discussions.
Each South Bay Tumor Board is followed by a Distinguished Lecturer, who provides a CME accredited talk on an important medically-related subject.
